ModulPix ("we", "us", or "our") operates modulpix.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password (via Supabase Auth).
• Usage data — Prompts you save, your copy history, and favourites are stored in our database.
• Payment information — Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
• Analytics — On production, we use Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous usage and interaction data (mouse movements, clicks, session recordings). No personally identifiable information is included in Clarity data.
• Technical data — Standard server logs including IP addresses and browser type, used for security and rate limiting.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the ModulPix service
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve the platform based on usage patterns
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage

Your account and prompt data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. Uploaded images are stored in Supabase Storage. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

• Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (privacy policy)
• Stripe — Payment processing (privacy policy)
• Microsoft Clarity — Analytics and session recording (privacy statement)
• Netlify — Hosting and serverless functions (privacy policy)

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. Microsoft Clarity may set cookies for analytics purposes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your saved prompts

8. Children's Privacy

ModulPix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
