The Prompt Library is where you browse and copy curated cinematic shots. Every prompt is written by the ModulPix team to give AI image tools the exact language they need for cinematic results.

Scene Sets vs Grid view

You can browse in two modes β€” switch using the toggle in the top bar:

  • Scene Sets (default) β€” Shots grouped into curated sequences. Each set shares a consistent visual language: same lighting logic, colour palette, and mood across all its shots. Great for building a coherent sequence of images.
  • Grid view β€” All individual shots in a flat grid. Use this when you want to scan quickly and aren't looking for a specific set.
πŸ’‘ Tip: Scene Sets are ideal when you need multiple shots that feel like they belong to the same film or project. The visual language stays consistent across the whole set.

Narrative functions

Every Scene Set is tagged with a narrative function β€” the dramatic role it plays in a sequence:

Establish Build Tension Reveal Character Climax / Action Denouement

Use the Scene Function filter in the left sidebar to find sets that match the dramatic beat you're working on.

Filters

The left sidebar has filters for every dimension of a cinematic shot:

  • Scene Function β€” the narrative role (Establish, Tension, Reveal, etc.)
  • Time of Day β€” Dawn, Noon, Golden Hour, Blue Hour, Night
  • Genre / Aesthetic β€” Neo-Noir, Sci-Fi, Horror, Western, Fantasy, and more
  • Shot Size β€” from Macro to Wide / Establishing
  • Lighting β€” Daylight, Neon, Backlit, Candlelight, Studio, and more
  • Environment β€” Urban, Forest, Desert, Ocean, Mountain, Studio…

Filters stack β€” you can combine Genre + Lighting + Time of Day to find exactly the type of shot you need.
